To celebrate the fifth anniversary of our annual ALPIN workshop, it will return to Dresden this September. Please save the date and come to Dresden on September 17th and 18th. We are organizing a two-day workshop consisting of four sessions, each featuring an invited lecture and several short presentations from sponsors (day 1) and on selected posters (day 2). In addition, each participant will have the opportunity to present their current research project or dissertation topic via a poster.

Hiking tour on day 3 – September 19, 2026
Due to hiking trails being closed off as a result of severe storm damage on July 31st, there may be changes to the destination or the route of out hike. We may also use a coach to travel together, given the large number of participants. Further details will be announced in the near future.
